Privacy Policy

Nowora helps you find nearby plans and people. This is the privacy policy to link from the App Store and Google Play.

Profile

When you create an account with Apple, Google, or email, we store the profile you fill in: name, birthday, gender, photo, interests, bio, hometown, and the sign-in method.

Your name, photo, hometown, interests, and location while the app is open are used to show you on the map and in nearby lists.

Location

Location is requested while you are using the app, so nearby plans and people can be shown. Nowora does not ask to track your location in the background.

Plans, travel, and messages

Plans, trips, messages, friend requests, and blocks are stored so the people in them can see them. Public plans can be seen by people nearby. Private plans are only for people you approve.

Alerts

If you turn notifications on, a push token is stored so the app can send alerts. Nearby-plan alerts and profile-view alerts can be turned off in settings.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Profile, then Settings. Deletion removes the profile and the plans, trips, messages, and relationships stored for that account.
